Šar Mountain Cup
The Šar Mountain Cup is a traditional ski event held every year at the Popova Šapka ski resort on the Šar Mountain. The competition includes the FIS slalom and giant slalom disciplines, which annually attract a large number of competitors from the region and Europe. The first edition of this competition was held in 1947, making the Šar Mountain Cup the oldest international ski competition in the Balkans.
Since 2011, Advertout has been participating in the visual marking of the starting area of the competition. Our inflatable dome tents have been installed at the start of the race, clearly marking the beginning of the track and representing a striking visual element of the event. Thanks to their construction, stability and high visibility in mountain conditions, these structures allow for a clear definition of the starting position of the competitors and contribute to the professional organization of this traditional sports event.
